In present time Indian medicals are suffering from doctor deficiency. Most of the Indian medical are running with very few numbers of doctors. Numbers of doctors in Indian medicals is very few it is about 1 doctor per 10000 patients which should be 1 doctor per 1000 patients according to WHO.
To overcome this situation now the Indian government is planning to introduce a bill on the Indian health care system. Here in the bill government proposed that any doctor from Ayurveda and Homeopathy field can practice Morden allopathy medicine by clearing a six-month duration course exam.
Many peoples are opposing this bill for several reasons and there are many peoples who are in support of this step with a hope that it will reduce doctor’s deficiency in India.
According to WHO, there should be 1 doctor per 1000 patients but in India, there is 1 doctor per 2500 patients. This is clearly showing that Indian medicals are suffering from doctor’s deficiency. If AYUSH doctors allowed to practice Morden medical practice then this problem can be solved.
If this bill gets passed then it will bring all the Morden and AYUSH doctors in one platform which will create an interface for knowledge sharing between ancient and Morden treatment process.
This bill will provide patients with various medical treatment options. Sometime allopathy is too hard for sensitive peoples and allopathy is not suitable for all the diseases here a person can choose a different option for him.
It will be encouraging step toward investment and research in AYUSH. Ancient medical practice is more effective and permanent solution but due to the lack of research peoples are not aware of AYUSH treatments.
Practicing Morden medicines in a traditional way can be Couse for different side-effects in patients. Practicing Morden medicines is not an easy task, it requires a lot of procedural step and analysis.
For basic treatment maybe it is good but if anyone needs severe treatment then it will risky. In critical condition, patients need instant effect but in AYUSH treatment process treatment take a long time.
Already AYUSH doctors are getting placement in villages and small medicals. Here AYUSH doctors are practicing Ayurveda and Homeopathy medicines. But if introduce Ayurveda, Homeopathy doctors in highly technical and advanced medicals then it may be a harmful step for Indian citizens.
No doubt this step can reduce doctors deficiency from India but there is a various problem associated with it. This step can be beneficial if and if only there is more research on Morden AYUSH treatment. Instead of introducing AYUSH into allopathy we should focus on allopathy in present time to solve doctor’s deficiency. AYUSH is the future and it has many benefits but mixing both of the processes is not a beneficial step.
